Francesco Tonelli

Born in the Marche Region of Italy, and raised in Milan, Francesco is a food photographer who also cooks and styles the majority of the food that he shoots.
A Maestro di Cucina (Master Chef) certified by the Federazione Italiana Cuochi, Francesco has worked in the food industry for over 20 years in Italy, Switzerland, France, Canada and the US.
He honed his talents in the kitchen as a Pastry Chef, and as an R&D Chef and Food Stylist for La Cucina Italiana in Milan from 1990 to 1997, conceiving, developing and styling hundreds of preparations featured in the magazine.
From 1997 to 2005, Francesco worked as Associate Professor in Culinary Arts at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY.
Throughout his cooking career, Francesco also indulged in his other great passion: photography.
In 2004, Francesco combined his skills as a chef, his love of photography  - and over twenty years of experience with Mac computers – to develop his own unique, photographic style.
